Loving the beautiful weather that has been gracing us the last few days and hope it continues for all those summer weddings going on soon!
Our next Wedding Wednesday & Event Showcase is May 30th and you should come! Especially if you are planning for your wonderful wedding day or are putting together a party for any occasion. Graduation? Bridal Shower? Anniversary? Surprise Birthday? Summer mixer?
The Brownstone Café “Wedding Wednesday & Event Showcase” will allow you to sample Brownstone Café’s menu and services as you prepare for your next event or party. Brownstone Café will have other event vendors at the showcase, providing many resources for you in one location. Past vendors that have participated are Lavender’s Flowers, Lucero Photography, Allen’s Tuxedo and Formal Wear, Davis Barber Productions, Table7 Events, Inc., The Wedding Guide and Alcantar Music.

Since The Brownstone Cafe is located in the romantic Spanish themed Villa del Sol, we are always drawn to wedding design and inspiration that is inspired by a colonial Spanish theme. This wedding is so picturesque with the multi-colored mosaic candles and coasters, the large creamy white flowers, the fine gold accents and the decorated motif candels are so sublty sophisticated.
Do we even have to mention the brides dress? Full lace, complete with a cathedral veil.

Its amazing what people are thinking up these days for decorations and crafts for party themes! And when you think there is no more to be done with Easter, this blog posts about a ton of cute ideas for decorating eggs and easter treats!
Favorites include using a stamp on an egg before dying it which leave it with a cute little mark once it is colored. 
Then there’s making cake balls and shaping them into eggs and have them covered in white frosting. Once the frosting sets then use food dye pens to decorate to your desire. Look at the cute chick one!

Pretty little Milania Bueno. Baptism: Sunday, March 5, 2012
Every sweet tooth was satisfied with Couture Candy Shoppe's candy and dessert table.
The Bueno Family celebrated the baptism of their beautiful one-year-old daughter Milania. Brownstone Cafe set up the inside and courtyard of the cafe for the event. Family and friends of the Bueno family feasted on steak and chicken skewers, rice pilaf and a fresh Greek salad. An adorable vintage themed candy and dessert table was set up by Couture Candy Shop.
Congratulations, sweet little Milania Bueno! We are honored to have been a part of this great occasion.
Looks like Valentine’s Day resulted in many engagements and as a result we had double the amount of attendees at February’s event! The cafe was full of people talking excitedly about wedding details and plans, enjoying the food spread and taking in the joys of the evening. Guests spoiled their tasted buds with Creamy dill meatballs, fresh bruschetta, hearty beef wellingtons and hot crab dip and finished with a tasty cupcake from Patty’s Cakes.
We welcomed two new vendors at our event: Table7 Events, Inc. and Stella & Dot accessories. We are thrilled to have them part of our Wedding Wednesday line-up which includes: Lavender’s Flowers & Gifts, Patty’s Cakes & Desserts, Studio EMP, Allen’s Tuxedo Rentals, Wedding Guide Online, Alfred Angelos, All-Star Photo Booth, David Barber Productions, SoCal Shutterbooth and Body & Sole Comfort.
Thank you to everyone who attended and to all of our vendors who participated in February’s event.

Studio EMP showed lovely wedding pictures on a wide LCD screen and brought several photo albums to display their talent.

It’s coming up!
February’s Wedding Wednesday and Event Showcase will be on the 29th from 6-8pm. Hosted once a month by Brownstone, the evening is purposed for brides and guests to partake in free food and cake samples, be contestants in a raffle, and to meet with wedding specialists and vendors like cake decorator, tuxedo rental, florist, photographer and many more.
