Choose a fall wedding to celebrate the colors of the season. Choose deep reds, golds and oranges for your wedding ceremony and reception colors. These colors can be used for your tablecloths, napkins, centerpieces and other decorations. Place gold and red votive candles alongside your reception table fall centerpiece, and scatter autumn leaves and fall flowers on the tabletop. During the wedding ceremony, decorate the ends of church pews with orange flowers. Combine autumn leaves and flower petals in the flower girl’s basket.
or a non-traditional wedding theme, consider a Halloween-themed ceremony or reception. You may choose to incorporate the holiday heavily into your ceremony, with black and orange decorations alongside jack-o-lanterns and spiders. A black wedding cake instead of the traditional white cake would be appropriate for a Halloween wedding reception, as well as a menu with foods containing pumpkin.
